The large building adjacent to the pool was originally used as a roller-skating rink and later as a dance hall.

1.2 million gallons of cool spring-fed artesian water. Olympic size pool. Kiddie pool. Water trolley. Palm trees. Picnic area. Horseshoes. Volleyball. Billards. Music. Air hockey. Shaded snack bar. Great food. Hot showers. Lockers. Diving boards. Large anchored floats. Lounging areas. Enough said.

Exit 353 off I-35. Go east to downtown. Cross the railroad tracks. Continue three blocks and turn left on FM 2114. West Pool is on the right just around the curve. Downtown West with its many stores, cafes and restaurants is only a few blocks away.
