If you wanted to see everything you could ever imagine, this is an excellent place to start. Vintage coins, machines, furniture, chests, dishes, tools, appliances, fishing equipment, knives, farm tools... the list is endless. Including a lot of items that you have to give up and just ask what it is.

photo of vintage fishing equipment Ever seen an electric flea trap? A homebuilt pinball game? Wander in and look around. If you're looking for something in particular, I bet Ed's got one somewhere and can tell you the story behind it. At the back of the store is a corner for antique everything-for-fishing. For a closer look, click on the photo to the left.

Being one of the few downtown businesses open on Sunday, Ed has had his share of interviews by wandering journalists. Earlier this year the Frugal Traveler, Seth Kugel, mentioned his visit in both a New York Times article and a blog post you can read here.

Ed was also suprised to learn that a chat with an out-of-town visitor had wound up on the front page of a Czech newspaper. It starts out "Ceši v "cerveném" Texasu volí demokraty. Americký zpravodaj HN Daniel Anýž sledoval, jak probíhající primárky hýbou ceskou komunitou v Texasu. " You can read it here if you know Czech! (photo at right is from the newspaper article)

We'll be featuring some of Ed's more baffling treasures on the front page to test your knowledge of way-back-when.
